Who we are
Chippr Robotics is an independent engineering firm working on financial infrastructure. We are small on purpose: a few humans, many robots.
Most of what we build is infrastructure — software that has to keep running after the enthusiasm of whoever started it runs out. That imposes a discipline: write it to be read, test it in public, license it so someone else can pick it up, and don’t ship anything you’d be embarrassed to have audited.
Founded by an engineer with years building financial infrastructure inside large institutions and a longer run of open-source protocol work in the Ethereum and Zcash communities. Chippr is where the work that doesn’t fit inside an enterprise gets done.
What we build
Three projects, described on their own pages: FairWins, self-custody digital asset infrastructure; fukuii, an execution-layer client for EVM networks; and Sigil, physical containment for agent signing keys. All of it is open source, under Apache-2.0.
How we work
In public. The code, the issues and the reasoning are readable by anyone. When something fails we say so, in the same place we said it would work.
Custody stays with the holder. Where we handle other people’s assets, the design constraint comes first: our software never takes custody, and the parts that could are the parts we do not build.
Verifiable over impressive. Releases ship with provenance, a bill of materials and a signature, because an operator should be able to check what they are running rather than take our word for it.
Where else we show up
Some of our work lands in other people’s protocols rather than our own: contributions to blockchain ecosystems.
